Copper tube for refrigeration and air conditioner are manufactured for refrigeration systems used in cold storage and air conditioning units for residential and commercial buildings. It is supplied in in coils (copper pancake coil, LWC coil) and straight lengths. Sizes are available from 3/16” to 4-1/8” (from 4.76mm to 104.78mm) in outside diameter. The copper tubes are cleaned and capped, have a total residue maximum 0.038g/m².
The inner grooved copper coil tube features a smooth outer surface and a grooved inner surface. This ensures a higher heat exchange efficiency than traditional plain copper tube. It is primarily used in HVAC piping systems, air conditioner, air handling units, central air conditioner and freezers which is in conformance with the developing tendency of the air conditioning and refrigeration to the high efficiency, the energy saving. Inner grooved copper coil tube is to improve the heat transfer characteristics of copper tubes and heat exchangers, the inner surface of the tube is provided with spirally running grooves. The inside surface area of the inner grooved coil tube increases 65-100% than that of the same specification of plain copper tube, and the heat transfer coefficient is about 2-3 times of that of the same specification of the plain copper tube. By using the inner grooved copper tubes in fin block heat exchangers, the efficiency of the heat exchanger can be increased up to 30% depending on the application.
Copper capillary tube is one of the most commonly used throttling devices in the refrigeration and air conditioning systems (domestic refrigerators, deep freezers, water coolers and air conditioners). The copper capillary tube limits the maximum amount of the refrigerant that can be charged in the refrigeration and air conditioning system due to which the receiver is not required in these systems. Copper capillary pipe is usually manufactured with fine precision. This precision allows airflow to be smoother, more uniform, and more closely monitored, making such applications as fluid & air restrictors much more useful.
Degreased copper tube is manufactured under EN 13348 standard. It is designed for use in medical gas pipeline system installations (medical gas supply, medical suction, gas supply to surgical tools). It is suitable for jointing degreased medical gas copper fittings and other medical gas equipment. Straight tubes and copper coils are available for degreased copper tube.
Electrical conductor copper pipe for cable lugs is made of pure copper (copper content: more than 99.95%) and with high electrical conductivity (more than 100% IACS). The electrolytic copper tube is in UNS C11000 alloy conforms to ASTM B188 standard, or Cu-ETP conforms to EN 13600 standard.
Copper tube for plumbing and gas is suitable for drinking water purposes, both hot and cold, sanitation, central heating, gas and general engineering applications. Plumbing copper tube is available in nominal size from 6mm to 108mm (from 1/4” to 4”). The range of plumbing copper pipe is available as hard temper and half hard temper in straight length, soft annealed temper in coils. The copper tube is available and in a variety of wall thickness to meet the safe working pressure requirements for varying applications. The copper tubes are manufactured according to ASTM B88 standard (for American), EN 1057 standard (for European), AS 1432 standard (for Australia).
