Insulated Corrugated Copper Tube with Spiral Waves

Applications

Insulated corrugated copper tube with spiral waves is suitable for ductless mini-split air conditioner systems and VRF commercial air conditioner systems. The spiral waves make copper tubing more flexible and very easy to bend during installation. The insulated corrugated copper tube is constructed of seamless soft copper tubing, insulation tube, spiral waves and flaring nuts. The insulated corrugated copper tube is available as single and pair (twin) copper coil. The spiral waves are on both sides of copper tubing, with length from 50cm to 150cm. And the copper tubing is flared and nut on each side of copper tube to make easy connection. The copper tube is manufactured according to ASTM B280 standard (EN 12735-1 standard). Ink marking every meter in the insulation tube makes the size specification, standard and length distinguished easily. Our insulated corrugated copper tube is available up to 15 meters.

Material

Copper Tube:

C12200 (Cu-DHP) alloy, with copper content more than 99.90% and with phosphorous range of 0.015% to 0.040%, conforms to ASTM B280, EN 12735-1, AS 1571, JIS H3300 standard. The copper tube is fully annealed to the soft temper. R410a & R32 grade. 

Polyethylene foam insulation tube:

Light weight and low-density cross-linked polyethylene foam, tear resistant, designed for insulating cooling and heating lines. Conforms to ASTM E84 (25/50), UL 723, UL 94 standard, AS 1530.3 standard, EN 13501-1 standard with thermal conductivity (K value) 0.263 Btuin/ft2hF (0.038 W/mK) at mean temperature 104°F (40°C)

Color: embossed White / embossed black / embossed grey

Thickness: 3/8”, 1/2” (8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 13mm)

Elastomeric insulation tube:

Flexible and closed cell elastomeric material designed for insulating cooling and heating lines. Conforms to ASTM C534, ASTM E84 (25/50) standard, with thermal conductivity (K value) 0.25Btuin/ft2hF (0.036 W/mK) at mean temperature 75°F (24°C)

Color: Black, Red, Blue, Green     

Thickness: 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2” (6mm, 9mm, 10mm, 13mm)

Spiral wave:

With length from 50cm to 150cm on both sides of copper tube

Nuts:

45° Forged brass nuts
